

In 2020, the management at Handelsbanken realized something was not quite right. It was time to take action! Together with the customer, we executed an event inspired by the popular reality series "Kompani Lauritzen". The results where award-winning!

The idea was to build a story around the well known Norwegian reality tv-series "Kompani Lauritzen", which gathers Norwegian celebrities to perform military related tasks given by the famous Dag Otto Lauritzen (a former professional cyclist, now a profiled TV-personality).
In our case we changed the concept to "Kompani Andersen" and used Arild Andersen, the company CEO, as their team leader to communicate the concept the employees. This was done by creating a story with Lauritzen and Andersen where Andersen was given a mission to accomplish: To gather all employees and becoming "One Team".
We filmed numerous videos with Lauritzen and Andersen that presented the mission and created the universe which the story would unfold within. The films were presented to the employees through an app over a period of time from the fall of 2021 to the summer of 2022, culminating in the physical gathering in august 2022 where the concept was brought to life through digital interactive games. The project won the BEA award for the best B2I event in 2022.


At the physical event, which we named "Sommerøvelsen" we designed a layout for the day which consisted of four major parts.
1. A motivational and inspirational part delivered by CEO Arild Andersen that focused on culture, values and "One Team".
2. An interactive part where we divided the participants into teams who first worked with the company's culture and values within a digital interactive game, before entering a practical game in the same universe focusing on cooperating and task solving.
3. A get-together - an informal environment was created by using tents outside providing food, drinks and music.
4. To complete the journey towards "One Team" we celebrated with great food, a glittering award-show and fantastic entertainment delivered by some of Norway biggest artists.


The concept was supported by a specially made graphic profile presented on a multimedia stage with an 18m back-projected widescreen and a catwalk with a satellite stage in order to interact with the audience.
After the event all employees had to do a follow-up on the survey that was conducted prior to the event.
Results: A boost in pride beyond expectations.
