Rovio aimed to create a memorable game launch event aboard a ship venue. However, when the original ship became unusable, the challenge was to find a suitable alternative and adapt the plans accordingly.
Through a stroke of luck, the team discovered El Galeón Andalucía, a magnificent replica of a 17th-century Spanish warship, available for a limited time. With quick modifications to the branding and plans, the event was successfully held on the ship, turning adversity into triumph. Guests experienced an unforgettable evening on the historic El Galeón Andalucía, immersing themselves in the Plunder Pirates game launch celebration. The event drew immense attention and created a buzz among attendees.
