A game where everyone wins
We brought statistics to life by creating the largest game show ever staged at Avicii Arena in Stockholm. A captivating live experience with 2,300 guests, contestants from nine different countries and high-quality entertainment.
Mission: Söderberg & Partners is a global financial services company that, like many others, faces the ongoing challenge of presenting complex financial information in an engaging way. Since the previous kickoff, the company had grown by 700 employees, and the assignment was to bring everyone together to discuss company culture while creating pride and engagement within the organization. The goal was to encourage the sharing of experiences and knowledge.
Söderberg & Partners wanted to strengthen dedication to the company, and our mission was to create a kickoff that generated that momentum.
Solution: Studies show that our episodic memory can retain up to 22 times more information when we learn through play, storytelling or experiences. That is why we created a massive game show where all company communication was delivered through different game formats. The result was seven hours of high-quality entertainment and engagement.
Experience:
When participants entered Avicii Arena, they were not greeted by a traditional stage and round tables. Instead, we had built a massive set featuring four different platforms: a green room, commentary booth, analogue game area and a giant globe-shaped main stage. Through lighting, scenography and set design, we created an environment designed to work equally well for both TV and the live audience experience.
The agenda covered key focus areas such as sales, sustainability, values and offerings, but through formats like Jeopardy, bingo, Taskmaster and Hot Seat. Participants were actively involved throughout the experience via a custom-designed app. The mission was to learn as much as possible about Söderberg & Partners’ services, values and sustainability work.
In the evening, guests were welcomed to a networking dinner followed by an immersive gala featuring custom choreography and performances, award ceremonies and the grand finale of The Game.
Result:
Dedication to the company increased to 84%, the highest level ever recorded since employee engagement measurements began. Employees shared their pride and enthusiasm through a wave of social media content. Learning through experience increased understanding of the company’s strategy and created momentum for the continued growth journey.
