Forskaren, Stockholm’s cutting-edge Life Science hub, launched in May 2024 with a spectacular two-day celebration. The event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and even Swedish and Danish royalty. Highlights included inspiring speeches, exclusive tours, and a grand inauguration set to a custom-composed symphony—an unforgettable tribute to progress and collaboration.
Our goal was to create a launch event that not only introduced Forskaren as Stockholm’s new Life Science hub but also established it as a groundbreaking center for innovation, research, and collaboration. The event needed to bring together key stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers, scientists, and entrepreneurs, to foster dialogue and build a strong network around Forskaren’s vision. Additionally, we aimed to highlight the architectural significance of the building and its role in shaping the future of Life Science in Sweden. By incorporating elements of inspiration, engagement, and exclusivity, we sought to position Forskaren as a landmark for scientific progress and business development.
To bring this vision to life, we meticulously curated a two-day event that combined impactful storytelling, immersive experiences, and high-level networking. The first day focused on engaging participants with insightful speeches from industry experts, representatives from Vectura, Patricia Industries, academia, and tenants. Attendees were given exclusive guided tours of the building, allowing them to experience firsthand the state-of-the-art facilities designed to foster collaboration and innovation. The evening concluded with an after-work gathering attended by over 800 guests, providing an opportunity for professionals across industries to connect in a dynamic and inspiring setting.
The second day marked the official inauguration, elevating the event to an even grander scale with the attendance of Swedish and Danish royalty, key government representatives, and leading business figures. Speeches from Sweden’s Minister for Energy, Business, and Industry, Ebba Busch, and Denmark’s Minister for Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs, Morten Bødskov, reinforced the significance of Forskaren within the broader Nordic innovation landscape. To add an artistic and emotional dimension to the experience, a custom-composed symphony piece, New Progress, was performed by a 30-member orchestra, symbolizing the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines Forskaren.
The event successfully positioned Forskaren as a major hub for Life Science, generating significant interest and establishing it as a key meeting point for research, business, and innovation. The high-profile attendance and carefully structured program created a strong narrative around Forskaren’s mission, strengthening its reputation both nationally and internationally. The combination of inspiring speeches, immersive tours, and a unique artistic element left a lasting impact on attendees, reinforcing the building’s role as a beacon for future progress in Life Science.
