The process
LIWLIG designed and delivered an experiential client lounge and meeting space for Tines alongside the RSA Conference in San Francisco. The space served as Tines’ home base throughout the event: a dedicated environment to connect with both prospective and existing customers, spark meaningful conversations, and strengthen brand perception.
The experience was built around the State of Flow concept, rooted in Tines’ core offering: AI-powered intelligent workflow solutions. The idea was to guide visitors through a series of “flow experiences,” making Tines’ way of thinking tangible and immersive.
The original concept featured multiple functional zones, including a “Step into Flow” entrance experience, a lounge area, a demo zone with narrative elements, a creative custom-built podcast area, and dedicated work and meeting spaces. While the final execution was refined to suit a new venue, the core concept remained strong and intact.
The project began with an extensive concept design for an originally leased empty office space in San Francisco. After a couple of high-level concept pitches and brainstorm sessions, the very first visual and narrative deck generated strong enthusiasm from the client, and the concept was approved as presented.
Partway through the process, the project took an unexpected turn: the original venue was sold, forcing Tines to secure a new location on short notice. The event was ultimately relocated to a 20 x 20-meter tent built on the fourth-floor terrace of the St. Regis Hotel, requiring rapid redesign and careful streamlining of the concept.
Together with the team, we adapted the experience to fit the new environment – reducing elements where necessary while preserving its immersive quality and visual impact. The final execution remained true to Tines’ playful and vibrant brand, with bold investment in custom-built features.
The project delivered exceptional results,
with the entire Tines team expressing strong satisfaction with both the process and the outcome. Throughout RSA Conference, the lounge became a highly sought-after meeting hub, fully achieving its primary objective of facilitating valuable customer engagement.
Over two days, approximately 100 client
meetings were hosted across five dedicated meeting rooms, demonstrating the effective-
ness of the space in supporting business
goals. In the highly competitive trade show environment, the experience enabled focused, high-quality interactions that helped Tines
stand out from the crowd.
The results were equally impressive from a quantitative perspective, generating:
- 460 badge scans
- 218 customer engagements
- 672 prospect interactions
Tines summed up the partnership with the following feedback:
“LIWLIG has become an absolutely essential partner. They bring a creativity to our projects that perfectly matches our brand, and their ability to pivot and execute has built a level of trust that removes so much stress from planning an event.”
