An industry party transformed into a full-scale festival experience. The WECO Festival brought together the shipping industry for an unforgettable evening in Rungsted, where networking, music, and atmosphere came together – from the party buses in Copenhagen to the dance floor under the stars.
The process
The goal was to create a bold and memorable experience in connection with Copenhagen Shipping Day – an evening that gathered 900 international guests and set a new standard for what an industry party can be.
The event aimed to combine networking and entertainment in a setting that felt exclusive, surprising, and lively.
LIWLIG transformed WECO’s garden at their Rungsted headquarters into a fully realized festival venue with striking scenography, atmospheric lighting, and top-quality sound.
The experience was designed as a journey, where guests moved through the area and were continuously met with pop-up acts, music, and sensory details. The highlight of the evening was a large live show by Queen Machine, followed by DJs and dancing under the open sky.
Even the transportation from Copenhagen contributed to the experience, with specially designed party buses that set the mood before guests even arrived.
