Finnair, Santa’s official airline, boosted brand awareness by flying Santa from his home country, Finland, on a global Santa Tour to selected Finnair destinations across three countries and six cities: Manchester and London in the United Kingdom; Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in Japan; and finally Seoul in Korea.
Over the course of more than three weeks, a total of 18 events were organized, including media and stakeholder events, larger B2C events and brand activations, as well as visits to travel agencies and charity organizations. More than 30,000 people had the opportunity to meet Santa with Finnair, while the events reached over 300,000 people through live audiences.
Media coverage for the Santa Tour 2025 was impressive, generating 14.3M in social media reach and engagement, while overall audience reach across publications totalled 607M.
