Rovio: Burning Nest

Rovio, inspired by Burning Man and outdoor rave Konemetsä, created Burning Nest to surprise and unite employees, with a focus on building community and leaving a lasting impression.

Rovio’s goal was to build a sense of community among employees and leave a lasting impression. The challenge was to achieve these objectives by creating an event inspired by Burning Man and Konemetsä, with a focus on surprises and community-building.

Burning Nest offered a red-hot program including walking on hot coals and a psychedelic forest path leading to the Burning Nest stage, where a forest rave kicked off. The event was kept secret as long as possible, with new surprises throughout the evening to leave a lasting impression.

Rovio staff were welcomed by an accommodation area consisting of military tents and a lounge area built with Tentipi tents. The program offered red-hot activities and led participants through a rite of passage into a completely new world. The performers, program, setting, and other arrangements received praise from participants, with many dancing until the morning hours.

The event left a lasting impression and created a sense of community among employees.
